Επίθεση στον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, και στο συμμαχικό του γερμανικό κόμμα της Αριστεράς Die Linke, εξαπολύει η ΝΔ, με αφορμή την πρόταση του γερμανικού κόμματος για επιβολή εφάπαξ κεφαλαιακού φόρου για τους Έλληνες, αντί του τρίτου πακέτου βοήθειας στο οποίο αντιτάσσεται.

«Η εξαγγελία από τον Β. Σόιμπλε ενός τρίτου πακέτου βοήθειας είναι ένα ακόμη δώρο δις ευρώ προς τους Έλληνες ολιγάρχες και τους πιστωτές της Ελλάδας», αναφέρεται στη γραπτή δήλωση του Die Linke.

«Το Die Linke, ο σύμμαχος του κ. Τσίπρα στην Ευρώπη, ζητά σήμερα την επιβολή εφάπαξ κεφαλαιακού φόρου για τους Έλληνες. 

Αυτοί είναι οι περιθωριακοί σύμμαχοι του κ. Τσίπρα, που καταψήφισαν τη βοήθεια προς την χώρα μας και απέρριψαν την ελάφρυνση του Ελληνικού χρέους. Κάθε μέρα που περνά, ο Ελληνικός λαός θα μαθαίνει ποιοι είναι οι φίλοι του κ. Τσίπρα στην Ευρώπη, οι οποίοι βρίσκονται μονίμως απέναντι από τα συμφέροντα του Ελληνικού λαού...» σχολιάζει η ΝΔ.

«Το γερμανικό κόμμα Die Linke υπερασπίζεται τα συμφέροντα του ελληνικού λαού καλύτερα από τους Έλληνες υποτακτικούς της κ.Μέρκελ. Καταγγέλλει την αφαίμαξη των εργαζομένων για τη σωτηρία των τραπεζών και της ολιγαρχίας και προτείνει να φορολογηθούν οι πλούσιοι και όχι οι φτωχοί Έλληνες. Πρόκειται εξάλλου για το ίδιο κόμμα που έκανε επερώτηση στο γερμανικό κοινοβούλιο σχετικά με το ζήτημα των αποζημιώσεων και των επανορθώσεων της Γερμανίας προς την Ελλάδα, τη στιγμή που η ελληνική κυβέρνηση σφυρίζει αδιάφορα. Αλήθεια, με αυτό το θέμα σκοπεύει κάποια στιγμή να ασχοληθεί ο πρωθυπουργός;»  απάντησε η Κουμουνδούρου στη ΝΔ.

Moscow school shooting: Policeman, teacher killed, hostages released

Moscow police confirms a policeman and a teacher were killed as a man with a rifle took children hostages at a city school. The gunman, who is reported a high-school student, was neutralized, according to police.
The gunman entered the school in North east of Moscow, threatening the school’s security guard with a rifle, and then made his way to the biology room.
The security guard managed to call the police, and when the squad came, the gunman fired at the policemen, killing one of them and wounding another.
The gunman took hostage 29 teenagers aged 15 in the school’s biology classroom, releasing most of them soon afterwards, according to police.
Other pupils and have been evacuated from the school. A live feed from the site shows schoolchildren running out of the school.
So far, the gunman has made no demands.
Lifenews TV channel has reported that the phone connection has with the school been lost, and that shocked parents are gathering outside the school.
All Russian schools have an armed security guard, according to a law passed in the wake of the 2004 terrorist attack on a school Beslan, North Ossetia.

China VS Japan Army Japan self defense forces conduct island assault drill near Diaoyu Islands

The Japanese military is set to hold a drill involving 18,000 personnel between Nov. 1 and 18 to simulate storming occupied islands near Okinawa, close to contested islands in the East China Sea, says the Global Times, a tabloid published under the auspices of the Communist Party mouthpiece People's Daily.

In the drill, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Western Army Infantry Regiment, which is responsible for offshore defense, will deploy an Osumi-class tank-landing ship to approach the target, an uninhabited atoll of Okidaitojima which lies 250 miles from Okinawa. F-22 fighter jets and destroyers will also take part in the drill, which will include live ammunition and amphibious landings.

The drill is the largest exercise that Japan's Self-Defense Force has held since 2009 and will test the response speed of its three main branches as well as their air and maritime defense capabilities. It is also said to be a major test of the army's command system since the country's defense ministry reportedly plans to set up a marine corps.

Japan has shifted the purpose of its military exercises from "experience" to "combat simulation" in recent years. The numerous exercises it has held with the United States since 2006 have seen Japanese soldiers deployed away from the homeland through transport aircraft and amphibious warfare ships, aiming to train the skills to project the country's force to remote islands. The US military has also taught Japanese special forces skills such as stealth landings by inflatable boat, infiltrations and attacks.

The first battalion of the Japanese army has also incorporated "retaking occupied offshore islands" into its training regime. It carried out an airborne landing training exercise aimed at retaking occupied islands in Chiba prefecture near Tokyo in January this year.

In this summer, Japan took part in the joint amphibious exercise Dawn Blitz with the US, Canada and New Zealand.

The atoll where the November drill will take place has been a shooting range for US Navy stationed in Okinawa since 1956. Experts said its shores are even more challenging and dangerous to attack than the Diaoyutai (Diaoyu or Senkaku) islands that are the center of an ongoing territorial dispute between China and Japan and will pose a great test to the amphibious ability of Japanese forces.

Τον οπλισμό που έκρυβε το αυτοκίνητο - γιάφκα που βρέθηκε το Σάββατο στην οδό Αγίας Κυριακής στο Παλαιό Φάληρο έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα η Ελληνική Αστυνομία.

Πρόκειται για 4 ρουκέτες τύπου RPG, 4 προωθητικοί μηχανισμοί RPG, εκτοξευτήρας RPG, 4 αμυντικές χειροβομβίδες F1, 4 πυροδοτικοί μηχανισμοί των χειροβομβίδων αυτών, 3 καλάσνικοφ, 7 γεμιστήρες καλάσνικοφ, 2 κοντάκια καλάσνικοφ, κουτιλά με σφαίρες καλάσνικοφ, γάντια και κουκούλες.

Από τη βαλλιστική εξέταση προέκυψε ότι τα καλάσνικοφ δεν είχαν χρησιμοποιηθεί σε τρομοκρατική ενέργεια ή σε άλλη αξιόποινη πράξη.

Τα όπλα ήταν ελαφρώς οξειδωμένα λόγω της αποθήκευσης, ενώ έρευνα συνεχίζεται, τόσο στα εγκληματολογικά εργαστήρια, όσο και από την Αντιτρομοκρατική Υπηρεσία, για την διαλεύκανση της υπόθεσης....

Strong quake hits western Greek isle of Kefalonia

A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of between 5.7 and 6.1 hit the western Greek island of Kefalonia on Monday, just over a week after a similar quake damaged dozens of buildings across the island.
Kefalonia Mayor Alexandros Parisis told Greek radio that the port at the town of Lixouri, the closest to the epicenter, had been seriously damaged and that minor injuries had been reported. He did not immediately have any further details.
The Athens Geodynamic Institute registered the pre-dawn quake, which struck just after 5 a.m. local time with a magnitude of 5.7 and an epicenter 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northwest of the island's capital of Argostoli. The Athens institute had initially registered 5.9. The U.S. Geological Survey registered a 6.1-magnitude. It is common for institutes to register different figures and to revise their initial measurements.

Earthquakes have been rattling the island constantly for the past week, after a 5.9-magnitude temblor struck the area on Jan.

Monday's quake was felt on the nearby island of Zakinthos and parts of the western Greek mainland as well as in the Greek capital, Athens.
Kefalonia's mayor and seismologists urged people on the island to leave their houses temporarily. Parisis said he was trying to arrange a boat to head to Lixouri, but was being hampered by high winds in the area. Lixouri, which has been closest to the epicenter of the quakes over the last week, is far from the main town of Argostoli by road but close by sea.
Kefalonia and neighboring Zakinthos were devastated in 1953, when a 7.2-magnitude temblor struck three days after a 6.4 one, killing hundreds, injuring thousands and destroying nearly all the buildings on the islands.
