The Hellenic Navy (HN) (Greek: Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, Polemikó Naftikó, abbreviated ΠΝ) is the naval force of Greece, part of the Greek Armed Forces. The modern Greek navy has its roots in the naval forces of various Aegean Islands, which fought in the Greek War of Independence. Σταμάτησε την απεργία πείνας ο Νίκος Ρωμανός, ο οποίος νοσηλεύεται στο «Γ. Γεννηματάς».
Όπως ανακοίνωσε το νοσοκομείο, ο Ρωμανός στις 2.00 μ.μ. σήμερα άρχισε να σιτίζεται μετά την ψήφιση της τροπολογίας στη Βουλή.

Προστίθεται πως θα παραμείνει νοσηλευόμενος για μερικές ημέρες διότι η διαδικασία επανασίτισης απαιτεί αυξημένη ιατρική φροντίδα, γιατί εγκυμονούν σοβαροί κίνδυνοι για την υγεία του.

Είχε προηγηθεί βελτιωτική ρύθμιση στη Βουλή από τον υπουργό Δικαιοσύνης για το θέμα των εκπαιδευτικών αδειών, σύμφωνα με την οποία θα χορηγείται εκπαιδευτική άδεια με ηλεκτρονική επιτήρηση, εφόσον οι κρατούμενοι έχουν με επιτυχία παρακολουθήσει εξ αποστάσεως το ένα τρίτο των μαθημάτων το προηγούμενο εξάμηνο.

ΒΟΥΛΗ - ΤΗΛΕΟΡΑΣΗ
Βελτιωτική ρύθμιση για το θέμα των εκπαιδευτικών αδειών των κρατουμένων κατέθεσε ο Χ. Αθανασίου
Η ρύθμιση έγινε δεκτή ομόφωνα και με χειροκροτήματα. Η κατάσταση είχε φτάσει σε οριακό σημείο, καθώς ο Νίκος Ρωμανός βρισκόταν στην 30ή μέρα της απεργίας πείνας, ενώ σήμερα το πρωί ξεκίνησε και απεργία δίψας.

Μάλιστα, για το ζήτημα είχε τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία ο πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας Κάρολος Παπούλιας με τον πρωθυπουργό Αντώνη Σαμαρά, ο οποίος τον ενημέρωσε για το περιεχόμενο της τροπολογίας που κατατέθηκε στη Βουλή και το γενικότερο νομικό πλαίσιο.

Και ο πρόεδρος του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Αλέξης Τσίπρας είχε επικοινωνήσει με τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας και τον αντιπρόεδρο της κυβέρνησης Ευάγγελο Βενιζέλο.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, είχε ζητήσει από τον Κάρολο Παπούλια να βοηθήσει με το κύρος του να βρεθεί λύση στο ζήτημα του Νίκου Ρωμανού.
