Twin spacecraft are due to begin orbiting around the moon on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. It is part of a nearly half-billion dollar mission that will enable scientists to better understand the moon's gravitational field and the lunar interior. VOA's Suzanne Presto reports on GRAIL, the U.S. space agency's Gravity Recovery And Interior Laboratory mission.
