Ταραχές στο Σάο Πάολο μετά την ήττα της Βραζιλίας [φωτο]

Η αστυνομία της Βραζιλίας τέθηκε σε κατάσταση συναγερμού μετά τον ταπεινωτικό αποκλεισμό της χώρας από τη Γερμανία, με 7-1, από το Παγκόσμιο Κύπελλο...

καθώς φοβούνταν ότι οι θυμωμένοι οπαδοί θα μπορούσαν να προκαλέσουν ταραχές μετά την ήττα.

Αν και η ευρεία εξάπλωση επεισοδίων, για την οποία είχαν προετοιμαστεί οι αρχές, τελικά δεν συνέβη, υπήρξαν αναφορές για προβλήματα μέσα και γύρω από το γήπεδο του Μπέλο Οριζόντε μετά το παιχνίδι και σε άλλες πόλεις σε όλη τη Βραζιλία.

Οι πόλεις της Βραζιλίας που φιλοξένησαν σφοδρές διαμαρτυρίες πριν από το τουρνουά, ήταν γενικά ήρεμες μετά τον αγώνα.

Ωστόσο, οι αρχές κλήθηκαν σε πυκνοκατοικημένη περιοχή του Σάο Πάολο όταν οπαδοί έβαλαν φωτιά σε ένα λεωφορείο, καταστρέφοντάς το ολοσχερώς.

Τα μέτρα ασφαλείας ενάθηκαν γύρω από το γήπεδο, όταν ένας φίλαθλος, ο Samir Kelvin, αγκάλιασε μια λάμπα του δρόμου και φώναξε: "Δεν μου έχει μείνει τίποτα! Είμαι Βραζιλιάνος και ταπεινωμένος, θέλω να αυτοκτονήσω".
