The Hellenic Navy (HN) (Greek: Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, Polemikó Naftikó, abbreviated ΠΝ) is the naval force of Greece, part of the Greek Armed Forces. The modern Greek navy has its roots in the naval forces of various Aegean Islands, which fought in the Greek War of Independence. Πλοίο με 700 μετανάστες ανοιχτά της Κρήτης..[ 4940 ]

Ακυβέρνητο φορτηγό πλοίο με 700 μετανάστες ανοιχτά της Κρήτης

Δεν υπάρχει κίνδυνος βύθισης του φορτηγού πλοίου που πλέει ακυβέρνητο ανοιχτά της Κρήτης. Προβληματισμός για το που θα φιλοξενηθούν οι 700 μετανάστες


Φορτηγό πλοίο παραμένει ακυβέρνητο λόγω μηχανικής βλάβης, 30 ναυτικά μίλια νοτιοανατολικά της Κρήτης.
Στο πλοίο "Baris" με σημαία Καραμπάτι, επιβαίνουν περίπου 700 παράτυποι μετανάστες διαφόρων εθνοτήτων.
Σύμφωνα με τις τελευταίες πληροφορίες, στο σημείο βρίσκονται ήδη παραπλέοντα πλοία και πλοίο του πολεμικού ναυτικού ενώ διεξάγονται διαπραγματεύσεις μεταξύ των αρχών για το που θα πρέπει να οδηγηθεί το πλοίο με τους παράτυπους μετανάστες.
Εκτιμάται πως δεν υπάρχει κίνδυνος βύθισης του πλοίου, αλλά στην περιοχή πνέουν ισχυροί άνεμοι.
Το πλοίο είχε αποπλεύσει από χώρα της Αφρικής με προορισμό την Ιταλία.
Σύμφωνα με τον εκπρόσωπο τύπου του Υπουργείου Εμπορικής Ναυτιλίας, Ν. Λαγκαδιανό, στο πλοίο επιβαίνουν περίπου 700 άτομα, ωστόσο οι καιρικές συνθήκες δυσχεραίνουν το έργο των τεσσάρων πλοίων που έχουν σπεύσει και της φρεγάτας ΥΔΡΑ που συντονίζει τις προσπάθειες διάσωσης των επιβαινόντων στο φορτηγό πλοίο. Τα ενδεχόμενα είναι δύο: είτε το πλοίο να προσεγγίσει κάποιο λιμάνι στην Κρήτη, είτε να γίνει εν πλω μετεπιβίβαση του κόσμου.
Ανησυχία για τον ιο Έμπολα
Εν τω μεταξύ, σε συναγερμό είναι όλες οι υπηρεσίες της Ιεράπετρας, καθώς το ζήτημα δεν είναι πλέον το πού θα φιλοξενηθούν όλοι αυτοί οι άνθρωποι αλλά και το πως θα υποβληθούν σε ιατρικές εξετάσεις, καθώς πλέον ο ιός Έμπολα, χτυπάει "καμπανάκι" κινδύνου σε όλο τον κόσμο και επιβάλλει προληπτικές εξετάσεις. Στην Ιεράπετρα σπεύδει ο Γ. Ματαλλιωτάκης ο οποίος, μιλώντας στο Cretalive, τόνισε ότι λαμβάνονται όλα τα μέτρα, λόγω των ασθενειών και της έξαρσης του Έμπολα.
