The Hellenic Navy (HN) (Greek: Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, Polemikó Naftikó, abbreviated ΠΝ) is the naval force of Greece, part of the Greek Armed Forces. The modern Greek navy has its roots in the naval forces of various Aegean Islands, which fought in the Greek War of Independence. Το διαμέρισμα του 5ου ορόφου στην οδό Υψηλάντου 27 στο Μαρούσι ήταν όπως όλα δείχνουν το στρατηγείο του Νίκου Μαζιώτη το τελευταίο διάστημα.
Οι αξιωματικοί της Αντιτρομοκρατικής που έχουν φθάσει στο σημείο εκτιμούν πως πιθανότατα εκεί έμενε ο Μαζιώτης με τη σύζυγο του Πόλα Ρούπα και το παιδί τους.

 Όμως μετά τη σύλληψη του 44χρονου η σύζυγος του έσπευσε να εξαφανιστεί παίρνοντας μαζί της στοιχεία και αντικείμενα που θα μπορούσαν να προδώσουν τα σχέδια τους.

Πάντως, παρά τους αρχικούς φόβους της Αστυνομίας, ότι το σπίτι θα μπορούσε να είναι παγιδευμένο με εκρηκτικά, οι αστυνομικοί μπήκαν το απόγευμα στο διαμέρισμα του 5ου ορόφου, αλλά σε πρώτη φάση δεν εντόπισαν τίποτα ύποπτο. Ωστόσο, ερεύνησαν το χώρο για αποτυπώματα που ίσως μπορέσουν να βοηθήσουν στις έρευνές τους.

Οι αστυνομικοί έλεγξαν, επίσης, το γκαράζ της πολυκατοικίας, αλλά δεν βρήκαν το ασημί Huyndai της οικογένειας Μαζιώτη, ενώ στη συνέχεια πραγματοποίησαν έρευνες στην αποθήκη που είχαν.
