And
will the United States recognize it if the people of Scotland vote in a
referendum to leave the UK? If so why the double standards by not
recognizing the will of the people of the Crimea? And who cares if the
US don't recognize if the Crimea votes to leave the Ukraine and be
independent or to join Russia? The majority of nations in the will.

Hey
everyone! gather your jackets and bags, go home, and turn off the
lights on your way out. The Imperial US Govt. says it won't recognize
the results of the Crimean referendum! Oh-bummer!I guess the 58[[]%]
Russian majority in the Crimea doesn't have a say then, but a miserable
minority in Kiev does.

To the people of Crimea, I will honor your personal sovereignty
even if my own country will not. It is regretful that, due to the
meddling of my country, your's has failed. It is regretful that my tax
dollars have supported this. I am not worthy of your forgiveness.
My only hope is that, when my own country implodes, you will
reciprocate, intellectually, by supporting the states here who's
citizens wish to secede or otherwise change allegiances. Whatever
you decide on March 16th, I hope it is unanimous and that you stand
together in the strength of unity.from Arizona, USA

So
the US won't recognize the annexation of the Crimea so why do they
accept the annexation of the Golan, West Bank, Jerusalem. What's the
difference, sadly US duplicity

The
United States quoting what is legal and what is illegal under
international law? Took me ten minutes to get up from the floor I was
laughing so hard.

Unfortunately,
the same senario was embarked on in the Balkans during the 1990s by the
very same who claim to oppose it today! Just keep off others affairs
because then they would not need any one's support.

The
united terrorist states of America will not recognize a peoples
referendum to align themselves to Russia. Interesting!"The Crimean
parliament has already voted to join Russia. They also voted to hold a
referendum on 16 March to rubber-stamp the decision." So what is obama
and his cronies saying? that the decision by the people of Crimea is
valid only if he says so.Who the hell does this piece of refuse think he
is? If the Crimea through a referendum decide to join Russia then that
is their decision and their alone.

Well,
when Hamas won the Palestinian elections in 2006 in a free and fair
election the US didn't recognize it. Seems these days a free and
democratic election is not good enough if the pro-US party loses.
