George W. Bush embraced his brother Jeb Bush in Florida in 2008. The former President said he hopes his younger brother will run for the White House in 2016.
Separately, Bush said he’s optimistic that the GOP can put another Republican in the Oval Office in 2016 if the party picks the right candidate.

“The party ought to nominate somebody who can stand by principles and explain why conservative principles are better for the vast majority of the citizens,” he said. “I’m not one who believes that the Republican Party is doomed forever.”
The former “decider” also revealed that he didn’t call the shots when it came to naming his new granddaughter, Margaret “Mila” Laura Hager, who was born to his daughter Jenna on April 13.
“I suggested Georgia,” he said, “but somehow, they didn’t want it.”
